Production & Landscape Practices

Several practices are under investigation for use in managing Chrysobothris including irrigation, pruning timing, trunk guards, cover cropping and companion planting in landscapes.  

Conventional Pesticides 

This project will explore chemical insecticide timing, application interval, application method, intelligent spray technology and new active ingredients. 

Organic Pesticides and Biological Controls

Organic pesticides, microbial products and entomopathogenic nematodes are being evaluated.
